First Place in The Motif Collective Competition Nature 2025

I am very happy to announce today that I won first place in The Motif Collective International Monthly Photography Competition August 2025 with the theme "Nature" with my image "Stuðlagil".
I've been participating regularly in these monthly contests since 2016, am regularly shortlisted, and have had several second and third place finishes, as well as honorable mentions, but I've never won a monthly competition. Moreover, my last placement was almost two years ago.
