In this year's edition of the Artist Gallery Awards Landscape, my images "Lóndrangar," "Snow-White and Rose-Red," and "Aldeyjarfoss" each received an honorable mention. Since landscape photography is my core specialty, I had actually expected a bit more... But photography is always subjective, and naturally, I congratulate the winners! I am very happy to announce today that I won third place in The Motif Collective International Monthly Photography Competition April 2026 with the theme "Sunrise and Sunset" with my image "wings of dawn". At the moment, I participate in relatively few photography competitions with even fewer submissions. That makes it all the more rewarding when my images are still recognized.
